Death & Consciousness
To anyone interested in the nature of mind or consciousness the evidence
for life after death should be of compelling interest. If it could be
shown that consciousness even briefly could function outside the brain, or
after the brain was destroyed by death, there would be important implications for
psychology, politics, medicine, religion, and psychotherapy. Evidence
making such claims is mainly ignored by mainstream science today, but
there is quite a bit and much of it cannot
be easily explained away.
